IS 61
Our students in the 8th grade drama class at IS 61 perform their insightful original plays for 6th grade classes. IlluminArt has been working with this group since they were in the 6th grade and their writing has evolved and included timely topics like pay inequality, abortion, buzzed driving, hunger as a barrier to learning, poverty, and white privilege.
