Touch

Touch for grades 2-5, performed by high school students.

This play serves to create awareness of sexual abuse and appropriate protection and prevention skills.  TOUCH encourages children to think about all the kinds of touch they experience: touch that feels good, touch that feels scary or uncomfortable, touch that is confusing.  It teaches children to trust their feelings–if they are being touched in a way that feels “funny” or confusing, they can say ”get away” if possible, and tell someone they trust about what happened (and keep telling until they are believed).
