Illusion Theater’s Project TRUST

IlluminArt Productions is proud to be an accredited presenter of Illusion Theater’s education and prevention program* which is rooted in the recognition of theater’s potential as a compelling educational tool.

About Project TRUST:

  • An award-winning peer education program.
  • Students perform educational, prevention plays for the elementary, middle and high schools in their communities thereby becoming peer educators.
  • The selection of students as performers permits other students in the audience to identify with actors who serve as role models.
  • Children and youth have an opportunity to identify and rehearse responses to uncomfortable or exploitive situations.

Each presentation is followed by an audience discussion led by a trained group leader.

Discussion materials are provided for school staff prior to the program presentation.
